A little while ago I hosted a show called YBS Lounge!

This was just a small part of what a team called YBS Group does.

Young, Black and successful (YBS) is a social enterprise run by young people with the purpose of empowering Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) youth, and making a positive impact on the BME community at large in the united Kingsom.

I've always been a big supporter of community projects and events, and sitting here now I'm thinking I really want to get active and get back involved. So I'm glad they gave me the opportunity by asking me to be their host for the evening. THANK YOU YBS!

BANG has been shortlisted for a £50,000 grant from the Big Lottery to The final decision will be made by *ITV* viewers in the next few weeks..
BANG TALENT is a brand new project from the BANG 103.6FM and BANG edutainment team dedicated to helping disadvantaged young people living in Brent.
The project will provide free studio time, workshops, courses + live showcases for young people to share their talents and develop their skills and abilities.
The project will consist of drop in sessions, workshops and accredited programmes. Young people will be trained as `youth leaders’ to help deliver training sessions.

A lot of our young people in the community come from very disadvantaged backgrounds and the education system may have let them down in the past. BANG TALENT will provide a new and exciting approach to learning and encourage our young people to make a difference and change their lives.
