Tomorrow night be prepared for one of the most sought after events in the academic year!

The annual fashion and beauty showcase is here!

The unique inter-university beauty pageant will see another 16 African Caribbean students from 8 universities compete to be crowned ACS King and Queen 2011!

As a former Vice president of the Leeds ACS and also voted Miss ACS by my peers :D I am proud to host this amazing beauty pageant which is also raising money and awareness for the sickle cell society.

We have an amazing line up of performances on the night from the likes of DALEY, CHALEBOY, SLICK AND JCX and JEROME THOMAS!!! And of course an exclusive selection of African and caribbean fashion!!!

This is definitely an event not be missed!!!

Standard tickets are £12 and there are Limited VIP tickets priced at £20.

Well it's all because I've been leading up to one of the best holidays with the girls and birthdays I've had in a while!

I'm now 22 and tanned haha I went to Turkey, Mamaris for my birthday ( JUNE 2ND IF YOU DIDNT NOTICE) It was such a beautiful way to spend my 21+1st birthday lol

I hope you didn't miss me too much... I'm going to make up for it now as I've got a lot planned for the month ahead!!!

AMIRAH J.. my latest addition to the ONES TO WATCH list!

At just 17 this girl is full of attitude and I think just about ready to join what I like to call the #GrimeGang ... ( I swear I come up with a new Grime Hashtag everyday lol).

Amirah began writing and debuted her first live performance aged only 14. This led to note books filled with lyrical content and a performace at the Under Age Festival 2010. Amirah J is working on her first official mixtape entitled "Female Take-Over" availible summer of 2011.

Check out a preview of her latest track featuring one of my favourite ladies of Grime Lioness.

Production is on point and I think it's fair to say she might be about to' blow up'. I have high hoped for the video... DON'T LET ME DOWN PLLLLEEEASSSEEEE. I can imagine a UK version of the Jerk in there lol

This Weekend...

The Accidental Festival is an exciting and innovative arts festival that takes place across four days in May at the Roundhouse in Camden. Driven by the desire to provide upcoming artists with a platform to show work alongside more established artists, it is a celebration of art in all it's forms with a focus on community involvement and bringing artists together to create new work and share ideas. One of my good friends and an amazing artist Cynikal will be performing at the accidental Festival. He will be playing live with the street orchestra a 45 -minutes set on day four of this year's accidental festival. LOOK WHAT HAPPENED THE LAST TIME HE PERFORMED AT THE ROUNDHOUSE!!!

What a VIBE!!! So make sure your there this weekend.
